Schizoanalysis
Schizoanalysis is Deleuze and Guattari’s program for investigating desire together with social production in Anti-Oedipus. This school entry denotes a research orientation around shared texts, rather than institutional membership. Guattari’s institutional psychotherapy and Deleuze’s philosophy are distinct resources for the collaboration.
Instead of confining the unconscious to a family scene, the authors investigate its relations with labour, money, institutions, and political attachments. Desire may invest domination as well as freedom; desiring-production is consequently not simply individual preference.
Critical engagements with Marx and Freud receive separate currents. Spinoza provides another passage through positive capacities without collapsing these sources into one theory. Assemblage and deterritorialization follow the subsequent expansion of the investigation in A Thousand Plateaus.
